Estocism is the second most known religion within Voetell in which there isn't exactly a main god, nor even gods in general. Instead, there is numerous saints that make up its beliefs, with the most well-known leader being Saint Marce the Martyr.

Origins are blurry regarding where it was first started, but one of the first bursts of life was with the vanquishing of a greater demon that led to the creation of the head saint.

Characters

Father Markus

Occupation: Priest

Despite being a member of the Estocites, there are quite a lot of things that would make people think otherwise. Notably, his appearance is what essentially gives it away.

Suspected third life of the Contortionist, and second life of the Martyr. Wields a rather suspicious looking dagger.

Father Helix

Occupation: Priest

A child of a long and cursed bloodline. Specifically, a bloodline who's ancestors were a part of a demonic cult that attempted to summon a great demon from the depths of the underworld. They were successful... for a moment, until their plans were thwarted by Lancelot. The child of the cult leader had witnessed its form, which lead to long-term consequences down the line.

Susceptible to devilish influence, but tries to shield his fear with holy truth. Also said to be a part of a certain prophecy related to the saving of the family. Has a blessed firearm.

Father Hall

Occupation: Priest
Muse: Crucified

Almost unsurprisingly, he is the most normal out of the two other priests within the trinity. His rough uprising and events that happened in his teens turned him towards a more religious outlook, believing that it would be the solution he has been looking for. For the most part, he was correct and it was that path that led to the creation of Crucified.

Fights evil with his fists, giving demons a taste of holy spirit with blessed brass knuckles.

Saints

Saint Marce the Martyr

The head saint of the Estocites, rebirthed after the defeat of the Contortionist. Same person by the way! At least after the fact, he was dedicated to fighting back what was once his own kind.

Always depicted as being covered with bandages and wielding a sword, despite dying from one in the end. The sword would become a holy relic sealed in the main church, and becomes the symbol that represents the religion.

Saint Lancelot

A warrior-class angel that was responsible in the defeat of the Contortionist. Strangely doesn't use a lance, but a form of polearm.

Many knights, warriors, and general fighters who believe in Estocism always wish for his blessing, and that blessing they will receive within the battles they fight.
